2026 FAMILY SPIEL
On Sat. Apr. 4 the GCC hosted a family funspiel. 10 teams including players from Geraldton, Longlac, Nakina and Thunder Bay came together to have one last fun event for the 25-26 season. Teams were a mix of kids and adults, new and experienced curlers, all of whom went home with smiles, prizes and bellies full of spaghetti! A big thank you to our sponsors who helped make this event possible including Greenstone Gold Mine, Pietsch Group Ltd., Stedmans V&S, Kennedy Contracting, Rexall Drugstore, Greenstone Metis Council, Subway, A Spice Affair, Seema Paramewswaran, Peter & Haley Garvie, Darryl and Leah Galusha. WAIVERS - for all members (two different forms - one for Age of Majority and one for UNDER Age of Majority, including Rowan's Law/Concussion Awareness to be signed by anyone under the age of 26 as well as Coaches/Officials

ROWAN's LAW - Concussion Awareness Rules for ALL sport oganizations became law in Ontario on July 1/19. ALL athletes under 26 years of age, parents of athletes under 18, coaches, team trainers and officials must confirm every year that they have reviewed Ontario's Concussion Awareness Resources. The Geraldton Curling Club is located within the Municipality of Greenstone, in the town of Geraldton, Ontario. There are plenty of opportunities for you to come out to participate, compete or just watch the action! While some club teams do participate in numerous competitive events, there are leagues for individuals of all ages and skill levels!
